About me

I’m Chao Chen, a second-year PhD student in Computer Science at AI4CE lab of New York University. My research focuses on robotics, computer vision, and machine learning, with the goal of becoming a full-stack researcher in the robotic field.

[Opening!] I’m looking for undergraduate and master’s students to work on the following projects: (1) Visual place recognition, (2) Life-long learning, (3) Multi-agent VPR and Mapping in a large-scale environment, and (4) Spatial understanding. If you are interested and self-motivated, please send me an Email with your resume and the topic of interest. My projects are typically code-heavy. Please be prepared to work hard, and we will undoubtedly achieve success. Students from both NYU and non-NYU are welcome, and students with strong PyTorch skills, research pipeline design, and research-related experience are especially welcome.
